Genesis

Eighteen Sunny births are believed to have taken place after the reign of Mayadunne, but its treasure story is linked to the World Genesis story. The place of origin is known as Greater Kandy where the children of King Lichchavi lived. There was a king named Sankapala of this dynasty and his wife was named Asupali or Ayupali. Her maid was called Kali. One day while Queen Ayupali was pregnant, she had a rash of rats. On that day King Sankapala left for a nearby country for war. Since the Prime Minister did not know about the Queen's rat eating stream, the rat was provided. While the queen was eating bee meat, Kali's maid also had a desire to eat bee meat, but she did not get angry with him.

Infuriated, the king tortured the queen and ordered her to be hanged on a tree with two legs and halved. By the power of the child with the meritorious deeds, the child was born into two halves, ate the mother's blood and veins and became known as Raja Mulu Sunni Yakshaya or Kola Sunni Yakshaya. The prince, who once wanted to take revenge on his father for killing his mother, collected poisonous nuts and leaves and made 18 poisonous balls. That Sunny 18 is,

The group of 18 surrounded the prince and began to harass him, asking for food, and the prince used this as an opportunity to take revenge on his father. The first famine occurred when they came to Kandy and began to destroy its fields and crops. Lack of food led to the spread of the fear of disease, the accumulation of dead bodies, and the addition of inhumans to the stench of dead bodies. It is well known that these three were removed from the Rathana Sutta sermon.
