Kohomba_kankariye_marawa_or_marapada

After performing the pre-traditional rites of the Kandyan tradition, the morning rituals of Kankari, the rituals of the afternoon and Yak Anuma, Asne, Yakthun Pada, etc., the last element to be performed is the Marawa or Marapada dance. The killing is done with the gestures of a devil sitting on the front porch of the island. This takes the form of a handshake or a handshake that can be seen in many rituals. The same devil performs this ritual by looking at the ground and alternating between betel leaves. It is clear that Mara is not a specific dance form in Kohomba Kankariya.
